Training for the UK Linguistics Olympiad started last night at Brooklands. Students from years 7-11 were involved looking at linguistic puzzles in Mokilese, Tamil, Estonian & Tshiluba languages.
This is a national competition where students have to decode other languages and break down linguistic patterns, which is extremely challenging!
The students all worked really hard in their first training session, working towards the competition in February. Keep up the good work!
