yamahaconcertsmallYamaha Music Point Milton Keynes celebrated its second Big Concert with 80 performers taking to the stage at The Venue, the state of the art theatre, at Walton High on Saturday 19th May.

In the audience was Yamaha representative Mr Dave Savage, who praised the students for their musicianship and stage presence, in what he described as a slick performance. There were many first class performances, with a snare drum extravaganza, an Indian popular song and several guitar, keyboard, drum and vocal ensembles.

On Wednesday 18th April, our U13 girls football team played in the semi-finals of the Football County Cup. They had qualified for this by topping the group in the preliminary round, winning every game they played.

On the day of the semi-final, however, things started to go wrong. Sadly, we lost two or three key players through sickness and one through injury - just an hour before kick-off! YR8 student, Sasha Richings, who had not played for this team before, agreed to step up and play up front for us but things were always going to be tough as we still only had ten players on the pitch. Highcrest School from High Wycombe were our opposition.
