Teaching and Learning Responsibility payments

MKET’s Leading Practitioner pay scales have replaced the use of TLR1 and TLR2 payments with the starting point taking account of a teacher’s previous experience and salary. Teachers progress up the scale on the basis of performance.

Trainee Teachers Required

In order to guarantee our training is of the highest quality, we are pleased to be working with the University of Bedfordshire’s Secondary PGCE programme. At the end of a successful year you will gain a Secondary PGCE qualification and accreditation towards a Masters Degree.

Trainees on a School Direct course will have to pay tuition fees but will be eligible for a tuition fee loan through Student Finance England. Some trainees may be eligible to receive a tax free training bursary of up to £20,000.

With the potential to increase student numbers at Yamaha Music Point Walton High, Milton Keynes we would like to offer the following post to start in April / September 2019:

 

Keyboard Teacher

Evenings 4pm-9pm Monday to Thursday and Saturday 9-4pm

 

Successful candidates will need to enrol on the Yamaha training courses run by Yamaha music - this is free training offered so that Yamaha teaching methods are adhered to. Yamaha Music Point based at Walton High is a large successful Music School with over 180 weekly students of all ages.
