FEES

There will be a £35 enrolment fee to join the music school which includes a Yamaha Music Point Book Bag.  Upon enrolment all customers must sign up to our provider Go Cardless and tuition will be paid for by Direct Debit.

All lessons must be paid for in advance by Direct Debit.  No students will be allowed access to tuition unless the session fee has been paid by Direct Debit.  You will receive communication from Go Cardless regarding the amount you will pay.

WITHDRAWAL FROM TUITION

One session’s written notice is required to withdraw from Yamaha Music Point. Written notice MUST be sent to the Principal Teacher of Yamaha Music Point within the first week of a session to take effect from the following session. VERBAL notification cannot be accepted.  Termination of tuition will take effect at the start of the next session.

Customers should not cancel their Direct Debit until they have been notified by Yamaha Music Point. Cancelling your Direct Debit prior to the full notice period will result in a £30 administration charge.  Failure to provide the full notice period to cancel your Yamaha tuition may result in Yamaha Music Point taking recovery action for outstanding payments.

LESSON ABSENCE

Lesson fees are non-refundable where the student has been absent from lessons. In the event of teacher absence, the lesson will be rescheduled.

DISCOUNTS

There is a 10% discount for staff who work at MKET schools.

Students who learn more than one instrument, the first instrument will be invoiced at full price, and any further instruments will have a 10% discount applied.  This also applies to more than one sibling enrolling for lessons.

RESPONSIBILITY

Yamaha Music Point acknowledges its responsibility for the supervision of students during lessons and that the parent is responsible at all other times.
