GCSE examination highlights 2023

Year 11 students at Walton High are once again celebrating an impressive set of GCSE and vocational course results.

The majority of our students have chosen to return to our Post 16 provision and the exciting range of pathways and subjects on offer, many of which will be new to them. We wish all our students the very best as they now look to the next steps and the opportunities that Post 16 study brings. To those leaving us, we wish you every success.

Special congratulations to Jasmine Gurung for her six Grade 9s, and three Grade 8s. Congratulations also to Milan Mistry for his six Grade 9s and a Grade 8.

Other students achieving top grades are Kyle Chohan (five Grade 9s, four Grade 8s and a Distinction*); Sachiel Connors (five Grade 9s, four Grade 8s, and a Grade 7) and Vivek Akkinapragada (five Grade 9s and two Grade 8s and a Distinction*).

Well done also to Racheal Oguara (four Grade 9s, three Grade 8s and two Grade 7s); Christabel Accorley (three Grade 9s, and four Grade 8s); Favor Osayawe Samson (three Grade 9s, and four Grade 8s);
JJ Uzebu (three Grade 9s, three Grade 8s and one Grade 7) and Marwa Hamidi (three Grade 9s and three Grade 8s).

Strong performances were maintained in English Language, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Religious Studies, French, Performing Arts, Health and Social Care and Creative Digital Media.

We are always delighted to celebrate the success of our students as it is a testament to their immense commitment, talent and resilience. These results are evidence of the passion and dedication of staff here at Walton High. We would like to sincerely congratulate all students on their accomplishments. Students, along with their parents and teachers, should feel delighted with their achievements and we wish each of them an exciting and rewarding future.
