U13 Girls 6 a-side

Our U13 Girls 6 a-side Football team from Brooklands recently went with Miss Mather to play in the EFL Cup competition organised by English Football League. MK Dons SET ran this local competition to determine which school will go on to represent the them at the next round in the New Year.

They played so well. In the seven games they played, goalkeeper Asia, kept six clean sheets and conceded only one goal.

Our opponents in the semi-final were Ousedale who we beat 3-0.

By coincidence, the final was against another Brooklands School – this one from Leighton Buzzard. A very decisive 4-0 win for our Brooklands means that we now wait to hear where and when the Regional Finals will be played.

The team were Amy, Erin, Mylee, Danielle, Asia, Rachel, Hanin and Toni.

Miss Mather was very proud of them all and it was a very hard decision, but she chose Mylee as her Manager’s Player. Mylee scored a total of 18 goals on the day.
